Really exciting news! Steve may be opening a store for the Cathedral District that will have lots of stuff in it for people who are renovating their homes or businesses. I am going to try and link up Helping Hands Saginaw through the store so that people know where to come to if they are need of scarves, mittens, hats, etc. I am hoping that I can get more people interested as I'm doing all the work myself at this point. Well I'm steadily on the way to getting things produced. I have to check with Kat about the Girl Scouts to find out when I am supposed to teach them to crochet. I am so excited about that part of the charity. I wish I could get more adults to join, but I guess people are just really busy during the summer. Hopefully, I will have more people who want to join in the fall when the coolness of the air starts to remind people of how awful it would be to be stuck in the cold by yourself.

crocheting at work

Well the days tick by and we get closer to the fall with each passing night. I am crocheting like a mad woman while I work to try and have enough stuff for the fall. I am excited because the girl scouts are going to be on board with helping to make crafts and I'm hoping to get ahold of Teagan this Thursday at the movie. I am hoping that Teagan can makes heads or tails of the pattern that my father sent me for the hats. It seems like it should be easy enough so I'm looking forward to incorporating it into the gift packages as well as sending so hats alone to the Tramatic Brain Injury patients that are at the Veterans Homes.
